Superficial cutaneous scrotal gangrene with huge obstructed inguinoscrotal hernia.
PAFMJ Jan ;59(1):135-6.

Inguinal hernia is a common surgical pathology, encountered by every general surgeon. Obstructed and strangulated inguinal hernias are not uncommon. The presentation of both the complications is more or less similar and differentiating them clinically is indeed difficult. Even a suspicion mandates exploration. Cutaneous changes alongwith obstructed or strangulated hernias are uncommon. Minor scrotal oedema may be noted, however scrotal gangrene (dry or wet) though rare, can cause serious management problems.
