Spontaneous exteriorization of appendiceal fecalith seven months following laparotomy for perforated acute appendicitis.
Rawal Med J Jan ;37(2):226-7.

Appendicitis is the commonest abdominal surgical emergency. It is caused usually by obstructing fecalith which might drop in the peritoneal cavity due to perforation or during laparoscopic extraction of the appendix. I report a case in which the appendicolith spilled from a perforated appendix and exteriorized seven months after the surgery. (Rawal Med J 2012;37:226-227).
