Coeliac disease also known as celiac sprue is an auto-immune disorder of the small intestine, occurs in genetically predisposal people of all ages from infancy onwards. We present a case of 54 year old male who presented to our outpatient clinic with history fatigue and diarrhea with foul smelling stool , his haemotology reveals a haemoglobin of 10.3 gm his serum ferritten was found to be 6 μg/L and also found to have herpetiforms on the trunk. In view of his long standing anaemia he underwent upper and lower G.I. endoscopy. Upper G.I endoscopy revealed stunting of duodenal and small bowel mucosa, the biopsy confi rmed celiac disease with blunting of duodenal mucosa with lymphocytic infi ltrate.
