Clinical Aspects of Headache.

Headache is the commonest neurological referred presentation and there is a lot of concern about the serious nature of this symptom. An epidemiological study of Headache reported that 18.3 million or 43.2 per thousand patients per year in U.S.A are suffering from Headaches. So an evaluation study was designed to observe the prevalence and the type of headache which is more common in our society. The study showed that all types of headache were more common in females (77.24%) as compared to males (22.71%). Tension headache prevalence was observed in a younger age-range (17-50 years) amongst both sexes.
