Objective: To provide information regarding mineral contents of Fagonia indica of Kech, Balochistan. Methodology: Mineral composition of various parts of Fagonia indica and its habitat were analyzed by atomic absorption spectrophotometry. Physicochemical parameters of soil were analyzed by adopting standard procedures. Results: Significantly high concentration of iron (293.333+-2.624 mg/kg), sodium (665.343+-0.202 mg/kg), potassium (835.147+-0.544 mg/kg), magnesium (1114.833+-4.785 mg/kg) and calcium (4134.615+-19.230mg/kg), moderate concentration of copper (5.464+-0.789 mg/kg) and zinc (26.538+-0.993 mg/kg) while low concentration of lead (0.809+-0.065 mg/kg), nickel (1.363+-0.023mg/kg), arsenic (0.425+-0.01 mg/kg) and chromium (0.173+-0.01 mg/kg) were observed from various parts of the plant. Conclusion: Appreciable concentrations of zinc, iron, sodium, potassium, magnesium and calcium were found in Fagonia indica. It can be of value in iron deficiency diseases, stomatitis, diabetes, dysentery, diarrhea and renal diseases.
