Schwannoma of Penis.
Pak Armed Forces Med J Jan ;53(2):247-8.

A 39 years old male presented with a twoyear history of a nodule over dorsum of penis. It had gradually increased in size. Initially patient was asymptomatic but later he started feeling pain on erection, which forced him to seek medical advice. There was no history of injury, any urethral discharge or swelling anywhere else in the body. The local examination revealed a 2.2x2.0 cm firm, non-tender lump over dorsum of proximal one third of penis. It was fixed to underlying tissues. Skin over the lump was mobile. There was no regional lymphadenopathy. Systemic examination revealed no abnormality. Provisional diagnosis of subcutaneous fibroma/ Peyronie`s Disease was made. Despite reassurance, patient insisted for excision of nodule, as he was very much psychologically disturbed. After full preparation and under general anaesthesia, the lump was exposed through a longitudinal incision. It was a spindle-shaped swelling lying outside tunica albuginea, arising from the dorsal nerve. It was excised completely without sacrificing the nerve. Haemostasis was secured and skin sutured without drainage. The patient made an uneventful recovery. There was no loss of sensation or any erectile deficit. Histopathological report revealed it to be Schwannoma.
