Are patients satisfied with Physiotherapy services? a cross-sectional survey.

Objective: To determine the level of patient satisfaction with physiotherapy services in the government hospitals of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Methodology: This cross-sectional survey was conducted on patients seeking physiotherapy care in the government hospitals of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. In total, 150 patients were approached and interviewed through convenience sampling. MedRisk Instrument and self-structured questionnaire were administered to collect data. The level of satisfaction was measured in percentages. Results: Out of 150 participants, 115 (77%) were females and 35 (23%) male. Mean age was 44+15.42 years. Regarding patients satisfaction with receptionist, 38.7% were highly satisfied. There were 44% patients who reported that physiotherapist gave adequate time to the patient Conclusion: The findings of this study showed a high level of patients satisfaction with physiotherapy in government hospitals of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
