drug's group
would u plz let me know to which group does the drug trimetazidine dihydrochloride belong?i know its use in cardio but dont know
whats its family(i mean like b-blocker or ca channel blocker or like that?)

Trimetazidine belongs to cardiac metabolizers group. This drug acts at the mitochondiral level and optimizes the oxygen requirements of the cardiac cell.
It takes minimum 10 days to show some symptomatic improvement in the patient's cardiac status, who using Trimetazidine 20mg tds. For more details, you can look into details of Vasteral (Trimetazidine) manufactured by Serviour (Pharma company), or wait for the DRUG index to be added on PakMediNet.

Re: drug's grouphello sir , as far as i know its not for management of cadrdiac ailment but is supportive mangement to improove cardiac functions in cases of ischemic heart diseaes
